Adur & Worthing PoliceGood Morning Resident, On Tuesday, PC Brewer and PC McCavana had the pleasure of attending a community event at Worthing Library.
Whilst there they met with residents of all ages and spoke to local families about the issues that matter most to them.
The event provided a great opportunity to discuss concerns around antisocial behaviour, answer questions about local policing and share information about how residents can get in touch with their Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Our officers also spoke about life in policing, from joining the service through to becoming a fully substantive officer, giving visitors an insight into what a career in policing involves.
There was plenty of excitement from our younger visitors too, who enjoyed trying on police hats and protective equipment, with many families capturing the moment with photos.
A huge thank you to Nicola, the Hub Support Assistant Adur and Worthing Best Start Family Hub, for the kind invitation, and to Mel and Dawn for their warm welcome and for showing us around. Opportunities like this help us connect with our communities, build relationships and engage with residents in a positive and welcoming environment.  | |
